The hills are alive....
...with the sound of music...ah, ah, ah, ah, ah. I finally got to have my Maria moment at the top of a hill in Austria this past weekend, twirling around and singing at the top of my lungs.
It was pretty much a spontaneous trip, especially for me! We (me, Elizabeth, and Mike) decided a couple of weeks ago to use this past weekend (since it was the last bank holiday of the summer) to take a trip to Germany and Austria to tour the Bavarian Alps. We flew to Munich, spent the first three nights in Reutte, Austria and the last night in Rothenburg, Germany. We toured the fairy-tale castles of King Ludwig II, went to the highest point in Germany by cable car, rode a luge down a hill, hiked up to some castle ruins, and went to the famous walled city of Rothenburg. The food was fantastic, the weather was superb, and everything went off without a hitch! Here are my two favorite pictures.

The link to the rest of my pictures is below. Hope you enjoy the scenery and the pictures of all my meals! :)
