Meidy Thoughts

My dad and sister arrived in town safely on Saturday morning for a weeks visit. Having never been to London before, I wanted to make sure and give them a few lessons that will get them through the week.

Lesson #1: Do NOT talk to people on the tube.

I am sorry to report that my dad has failed this lesson already. He means well, but the locals just don't get his dry sense of humor! Even polite conversation is a taboo! This lesson has been hard for me to learn too, but I guess after over six months, and many warnings from my fellow local coworkers, I do not engage in friendly banter anywhere in this city!
