Meidy Thoughts

Before arriving in the UK, I had seen a show on the Travel Channel on Britain's Top Ten Castles and Palaces. On Saturday, Dovie and I took a road trip that took us about 1.5 hours northwest of London to Warwick Castle, Britain's Greatest Mediaeval Castle and number 2 on the list. Here are a few pictures from my visit there.

Combined with the visit to the castle, we stopped in on the town of Stratford-Upon-Avon, Shakespeare's Country. What a beautiful town! We took a bus tour past all the historical Shakespeare houses: his birthplace, his home, his wife's home, and a few more. We didn't feel the need to tour the inside of any of these houses, but I was able to snap a few pictures while on the bus.
