Isle of Wight

This weekend's excursion took me to the Isle of Wight. All I can say is BEAUTIFUL! By far the best place I have visited outside of London to date. Despite the rain during the morning hours, it was a place that I am thankful I got to see. Our day comprised of walking along the coast on the cliffs and sitting by the water for several hours, taking in the scenery and great people watching. The Isle of Wight is a big family holiday destination here, with little quaint bed & breakfasts and old hotels. I would go back in a heartbeat! Hope you enjoy my pictures (the hydrangeas are for you Mom!)

I think it's funny how you're leaning in toward the flowers in that one picture...and there's TONS of room to get you in the camera. I notice I do that all the time...I lean in as though it's going to be a tight squeeze...and then there's enough room to fit a football team in the shot with me!
